My dog owner training is now online. After watching “The Basics”, the next step I recommend is to watch the second session video titled “Dealing With Distractions”. More than 95% of my clients get the results they are looking for by simply watching these videos and making changes and never follow up with private sessions. I do offer individual client video calls. Four 30 minute video sessions is the equivalent of a single 90 minute in-person session. I charge $40 for a 30 minute video call and have openings daily

These videos show you how to get your dog to stop jumping on you or the furniture, and chewing up you and/or your house. The way most dog owners respond to jumping and nipping/chewing actually reinforces these behaviors rather than discouraging them. This video won’t tell you how to get your dog not to jump on other people, that’s much more difficult. But, it starts with you! If you reinforce excited or jumping behavior at greeting time (or any other time) your dog will be likely to jump on everyone to greet them.

Dealing With Distractions On The Walk

You need to have already watched “The Basics” videos BEFORE you watch this video! Loose leash walking is the MOST effective way to get the message across to your dog that you’re the one in control and when you tell him to do something he needs to listen, and also to give your dog what he needs to feel secure and be happy. This video is all about loose leash walking. I cover everything in this video that I would cover in a typical second session where I meet a client and their dog in-person, but this video is only $40 and I charge up to $250 to meet in-person. In these videos I show you how to respond to leash reactivity in a way that will make the behavior go away over time.

Prong Collar Walking Basics

In this video I give the fundamentals for how to use the prong collar properly while walking, and also how to get your pup to walk on a leash instead of sitting down or digging in. I have separate, free videos on my website on how to fit a prong collar and why a properly fitted prong collar of the right design, used properly, is the safest and most effective tool to address pulling when it is a safety issue. I don’t cover those topics here.
